Coarse Celtic dried salt is sieved after being dried at low temperatures to preserve its chemical composition. This sea salt or “sel gris” is perfect for cooking and comes in a refillable grinder.
Natural, without any additives, and loaded with minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, and trace elements), this Guérande salt has a great flavour without bitterness. Due to its harvesting on a clay background, its crystals are grey, friable, and perfectly assimilable.

The Guerande Celtic salt’s thousand-year-old tradition continues to be carried out in South Brittany by Tradysel. They carry on this heritage by producing pure Guérande salt while ensuring the preservation of the location and this unique, natural product.
The Tradysel Guérande salt is entirely handmade, harvested each summer day on real salt marshes that have been preserved in their natural condition by generations of salt marsh workers (Paludiers). The harvesting ponds serve as the hub of a circuit where salt is concentrated as seawater slowly evaporates.
