5kg of Guerande coarse, grey salt (also known as “gros sel gris” in French) in a resealable bucket.

Natural, using no additives and loaded with minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, and trace elements), this Guérande salt has a great flavour without bitterness. Due to its harvesting on a clay background, its crystals are grey, friable, wet and perfectly assimilable.
Grey coarse salt is then kept for at least 1 to 2 years in salt marshes before being packed and ready to be sold.

The Guerande salt’s thousand-year-old tradition continues to be carried out in South Brittany by Tradysel. They carry on this heritage by producing pure Guérande salt while ensuring the preservation of the location and this unique, natural product.
The Tradysel Guérande salt is entirely handmade, harvested each summer day on real salt marshes that have been preserved in their natural condition by generations of salt marsh workers (Paludiers). The harvesting ponds serve as the hub of a circuit where salt is concentrated as seawater slowly evaporates.
