La Belle Chaurienne Sliced Confit Duck Gizzards 350g

These preserved duck gizzards in duck fat offer both convenience and authentic taste straight from Southwest France. Ready to eat and full of deep, savoury flavour, these gourmet duck gizzards are a beloved staple in French charcuterie and ideal for warm salads, pies, or to top a savoury tart.  

Preparation Instructions: Place the opened can in a bain-marie (hot water bath) and heat gently until the duck fat becomes fully liquid. Remove the gizzards from the jar and brown them in a hot pan with a spoonful of the melted duck fat for a few minutes until lightly crispy on the outside. 

Serve warm or at room temperature, toss them into a green salad with walnuts and a mustard vinaigrette for a classic salade de gésiers. 

Before opening, store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours.
