Description
This gateau Breton with a caramel filling is a classic French treat with a twist. Made by French Biscuiterie Louis Le Goff in Brittany, this gateau Breton is a traditional butter cake known for its rich taste and dense, crumbly texture, similar to a shortbread biscuit.
This version adds a burst of sweetness with a soft caramel pieces that complements the buttery flavour of the cake which can be served as a dessert with Chantilly.
Ingredients: WHEAT flour, reconstituted concentrated BUTTER 23% (colour: beta-carotene), sugar, fresh EGG yolks 7%, fresh whole EGGS 3%, stabilizer: sorbitols, raising agents (WHEAT starch, diphosphates, carbonates sodium), salt, glucose syrup. Isigny caramel chips: sugar, glucose syrup, reconstituted MILK powder, Isigny AOP CREAM , Isigny AOP BUTTER, IGP Guerande salt, emulsifier: rapeseed lecithin.
