Soft Nougat with Pink Pralines 

This soft nougat with pink pralines comes from Montelimar, in the Drome region of France, an area closely linked to nougat making.  

The nougat is cooked in a copper cauldron, where French honey is gently heated. Whipped egg whites are added, followed by cooked sugar, before roasted almonds and crushed pink pralines from Lyon are folded through. This creates a light, aerated paste with a cream colour, scattered with red praline pieces. 

The texture is crunchy, tender and melting. Flavours are well balanced, with notes of honey, roasted almonds and sweet praline. This soft nougat bar works well as a refined snack or dessert accompaniment.

Ingredients: Glucose syrup, sugar, ALMONDS, honey 11.3% (French origin), almond praline 15% whole and crushed with azo colouring (sugar (beet, French origin) 80%, ALMONDS 15%, glucose syrup 4%, colourings E129 ), icing sugar, EGG white, wafer paper (water, starch, sunflower oil). May contain traces of other nuts.
