Pie d’Angloys cheese is produced in Meslay-du-Maine, in the Pays de la Loire region of western France. Fromageries Perreault makes this square cheese using pasteurised cow’s milk and fresh cream. The milk is collected within a 15 km radius of the dairy, ensuring close regional sourcing
This French cheese has a uniform ivory to cream colour on the outside and a light yellow interior. The texture is soft with a melting centre. It develops a strong aroma with notes of fresh milk, cream and hay. The flavour is savoury, mildly salty and slightly bitter, balanced by creamy richness.
