Saucisson with chestnut, fig and walnut 200g

Saucisson pairs well with figs, chestnuts, and walnuts due to their contrasting flavours and textures. The inclusion of these ingredients within the saucisson itself creates a balanced and satisfying combination, with the sweetness of figs, earthiness of chestnuts, and nuttiness of walnuts enhancing the overall flavour profile of the cured pork sausage.

To enjoy this saucisson at its best, just slice it! Peel off the bloomy rind (depending on taste) and enjoy it with fresh French bread, or on its own with a handful of cornichons. Whole saucisson sec keeps extremely well in your kitchen cupboard but should be refrigerated after cutting. For optimal flavour, let it come back to room temperature before serving.
