Please note that this Epoisse is sent frozen, and while we take great care in shipping our products in an insulated envelope with an ice pack, we cannot guarantee that it won’t be delivered defrosted. If the cheese arrives chilled rather than frozen it should be placed in the fridge and consumed within 24 hours. Do not refreeze the defrosted product.

Epoisses is a gloriously sticky cheese, renowned for its bold aroma and rich, fruity tang. Crafted in the small village of Epoisses in Burgundy, its rind is repeatedly washed in Marc de Bourgogne, giving it a distinctively robust character. Despite its pungent scent, the flavour is surprisingly mellow, offering a wonderfully complex and indulgent taste experience. This versatile cheese can also be baked in its wooden case and served warm with fresh bread, making for a perfect treat to share.
