Cancoillotte is a runny French cheese made in the Franche-Comte region, and one of the must-try cheese from the Jura mountains. Garlic has been added to add an extra flavour.
Produced with cow’s milk, this cheese is made from “metton” (skimmed raw-milk curd), making it lower in fat than other soft cheeses, although butter (and salt) is generally added after the cheese has been gently melted over a flame.
Ingredients: Water, curdled skimmed MILK (origin: France), BUTTER 14%, garlic 2% cast iron salts: sodium citrates, salt.
