Product information
Velvety French Vineyard Peach Nectar
Alain Milliat vineyard peach nectar has a deep wine-red colour and a smooth, velvety texture. Its concentrated peach flavour brings fragrant fruit notes, a hint of almond and a light bitterness that keeps the drink refreshing.
Vineyard peaches, known in France as pêches de vigne, often have dark red flesh and a more intense flavour than common peaches. Their name comes from their historic connection with French vineyards, where growers planted peach trees among the vines. The fruit also ripens close to the grape harvest.
Why Is It Called Nectar?
Peaches contain thick, pulpy flesh, so producers turn the fruit into nectar rather than pressing it like a clear juice. This process retains more pulp and creates a fuller texture.
- Serve chilled at breakfast or brunch
- Pair with pastries or fruit desserts
- Use in cocktails and alcohol-free spritzes
Store in a cool cupboard before opening. Refrigerate after opening and consume within three days. Shake well before serving.
