Soft Filled Waffles with Brown Sugar

These soft northern-style waffles contain a rich brown sugar filling made with vergeoise. This soft, moist sugar comes from sugar beet and has warm caramel and lightly toasted notes. It features widely in baking across northern France and Belgium.

The tender waffles pair well with tea or coffee and make an easy treat for travelling or lunchboxes. Each pack contains ten waffles, divided into five wrapped pairs for convenient snacking.

They offer a softer texture than Dutch stroopwafels, with a smooth filling rather than a caramel layer.
