The chestnuts are slowly cooked and candied in sugar syrup, allowing sweetness to penetrate evenly without masking the natural taste. The texture is tender and smooth, with a slight bite. The flavour is balanced, combining chestnut notes with sweetness, making them suitable for both simple and plated desserts.
