Made in the heart of the Jura mountains in Franche-Comté, this traditional French cheese is crafted exclusively from the raw milk of Montbéliarde or Simmental cows. As the first French cheese to earn the AOP (Protected Designation of Origin) label, Comté represents a legacy of quality and heritage. 

Carefully aged for 18 months, this Comté develops an intense, fruity flavour with subtle nutty notes that delight the palate. Each wheel is turned and salted regularly, allowing it to mature into a rich, aromatic complexity and display a distinctive yellow paste, characteristic of aged summer milk cheeses.  

This versatile gourmet choice is ideal for serving on a cheese board, as an appetizer, or even by adding shavings in a salad. This large Comte slice is around 1/24th of a wheel and can cater large gathering and professional chefs alike.
