From the heart of Alsace, France, Fortwenger’s cinnamon stars bring the charm of Bredele biscuits to your home. Each star-shaped cookie balances a tender, slightly crumbly interior with a thin glaze that gives a gentle contrast in texture. 

Baked with almonds, hazelnuts, orange peel, and cinnamon, these cookies present a nuanced flavour: the nuttiness rounds out the spice of cinnamon and the citrus lift from the orange. The dough rests long enough to allow flavours to develop before baking, and the icing is applied while still warm to preserve its sheen.
