A stollen is a traditional Christmas cake originating from Germany, prepared from a yeast dough mixed with raisins, candied orange and lemon peel, and finely chopped almonds. The dough is folded around a soft almond marzipan core before baking, then dusted with icing sugar to achieve its distinctive snowy appearance. 

Fortwenger’s Alsatian version highlights the region’s close ties to German baking traditions while using its own signature spice blend.
